Hill is professor and chairperson of the art department of Otterbein College located in Westerville, Ohio.
He received his BFA at Michigan State University and his MA and MFA at the University of Iowa with an emphasis
on drawing and a minor in painting and printmaking. His work has been shown in exhibitions throughout
the United States and is featured in many published books. In 1998, Hill participated in a residency
in Dresden, Germany sponsored by the state of Saxony and the Greater Columbus Arts Council.
Hill has received grants from the Ohio Arts Council, New York State Council on the Arts, Kansas Arts
Commission, and the National Endowment for the Arts. From 1994-97 Hill was the program director
of the Greater Columbus Arts Council's Children of the Future program.
