Printworks Gallery closed at the end of 2018.

Established in Chicago in 1980, Printworks Gallery specialized in works on paper including prints, original drawings and artists’ books. Printworks Gallery exhibited work of established artists who are widely recognized. Early in the Gallery's history, Printworks Gallery made a commitment to promote the work of important emerging artists.


Prints and drawings from Printworks Gallery were placed in the permanent collections of major institutions around the world including the Tate Gallery in London, the Art Institute of Chicago, the Hirshhorn Museum and National Museum of American Art in Washington DC, Boston Museum of Fine Arts, Walker Art Center in Minneapolis and the Australian National Gallery.
